oh, poor Kendra! I would cry, too, if the dog chewed up my ball, wouldn't you? Maybe you can get her another one?
What kind of ball was it? Maybe try a tennis ball or raquet ball. Do you have any of those? If you know anyone who plays tennis they probably have some old ones that are flat and would give you some to play with. If nothing else you could just play fetch with the dog.
Our dog brings use balls and wants to play fetch. He is a fun puppy and I like it when he sleeps with me.
